Trust me, as a codependent, I have heard many excuses as to why they were sick and couldn’t go to work the day after the Super Bowl. The nachos were too spicy, the sauce on the chicken wings was tainted, and the chili didn’t taste right. But my favorite is, “It must have been the salt on the pretzel that made me sick.”

- Did your team win? 2. Did you make it to work today? 3. Who called in sick for you?
Not only Super Bowl Monday, but if this is your regular Monday morning pattern, then maybe it’s time you also looked into the sound wisdom of Steps 1, 2, and 3.
