Before we took our first step on recovery road, we had a thought.
It was our thoughts that propelled us to begin the journey to wholeness. One small step at a time—and we were on our way. At times, we may have felt abandoned. However, when we search within and nurture our spiritual core, we will find we are never alone. We have a Higher Power who stands beside us, protects us, and guides us through each crisis as well as each victory.
We are spiritual beings living through a human experience. It is time to develop our spiritual base, trust in our creator God, find ourselves, and live in harmony today, tomorrow, and forever.

Subtle and not-so-subtle signs reinforce us by day and by night. Each thought—each step inspires us to value the loving investment our Father God has in our lives.
Step 11, Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
. . . who went before you on the journey to seek out a place for you to camp. He went in the fire by night and in the cloud by day to guide you on the road (Deuteronomy 1:33 HCSB).
