May the symbolic picture of Isaiah’s promise of peace fill you with heavenly assurance.

In that day the wolf and the lamb will live together; the leopard will lie down with the baby goat. The calf and the yearling will be safe with the lion, and a little child will lead them all.The cow will graze near the bear. The cub and the calf will lie down together. The lion will eat hay like a cow (Isaiah 11:6-7 NLT).

Over the years, I have discovered my inner peace comes from knowing God loves me unconditionally. With Him, I am confident. With Him, I am secure. In Him, I have heavenly peace.

For those who have suffered loss, pain, despair, yet courageously continue to believe in something greater than yourself.

For my friends who step out in faith every minute of every day to follow their personal Twelve-Step recovery plan,

I pray you find the peace that comes from knowing a Higher Power who has many names.

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6 NIV).

Merry Christmas and a peace-filled New Year to my wonderful family, faithful friends from the past, and the new ones I have met “in the rooms.”

Love and prayers always, Diane
