Step 2 – Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

For me, Step Two is all about challenging my stubborn spirit. Too many times I had tried to cut off my God-given instincts by believing I could do a better job than my Higher power. 

Some of us learn the hard way.

As we begin to trust our Higher Power, we will find we will no longer think so little of ourselves. Working the steps will help us stop sabotaging our physical and mental well-being. Instead, we will begin to experience God’s approval and in turn, love ourselves.
